หลักสูตรสอบดนตรีคลาสสิคและแจ๊สของทรินิตี้คอลเลจลอนดอน ครอบคลุมเครื่องดนตรีคลาสสิคทุกชนิดรวมถึงการขับร้อง โดยการสอบเกรดแบ่งระดับตั้งแต่ระดับเริ่มต้น ได้แก่ เกรด Initial ไปจนถึงเกรด 8 หลักสูตรออกแบบมาเพื่อเป็นโครงสร้างทางการศึกษา ให้เกิดการพัฒนาที่มีทิศทางและเป้าหมายอย่างชัดเจน โดยบทเพลงและแบบฝึกหัดจะยากและมีความซับซ้อนขึ้นเป็นลำดับขั้น ทั้งในด้านเทคนิคและการตีความ

Trinity College London Classical & Jazz examinations cover all classical instruments as well as singing. The Music Grades, ranging from Initial Grade to Grade 8, provide a structured pathway for students to develop technical proficiency and artistic expression through progressively challenging repertoire and technical work.
For advanced musicians, Music Diplomas are available at three levels: ATCL (Associate), LTCL (Licentiate) and FTCL (Fellowship), with the FTCL being equivalent to a Master's Degree in Music.
In addition to performance-based assessments, learners can pursue written Theory of Music qualifications from Grade 1 to Grade 8 and at diploma levels; see the Theory of Music section for details.

ในประเทศไทย การสอบดนตรีคลาสสิคและแจ๊สดำเนินการในรูปแบบดิจิทัล (Digital Grades and Diplomas) โดยผู้สอบบันทึกวิดีโอการบรรเลงของตนเองเป็นเทคยาวเทคเดียว แล้วอัปโหลดเข้าสู่ระบบออนไลน์ของทรินิตี้คอลเลจลอนดอน เพื่อรับการประเมินจากอาจารย์ผู้สอบของทรินิตี้คอลเลจลอนดอน ผู้สอบจะได้รับคะแนนพร้อมคำติชม และเมื่อสอบผ่านจะได้รับใบประกาศนียบัตรที่ได้รับการรับรองจากหน่วยงาน Ofqual สหราชอาณาจักร เช่นเดียวกับการสอบแบบตัวต่อตัวทุกประการ

In Thailand, Classical & Jazz examinations are taken as Digital Grades and Diplomas. Candidates record their performance as a single unedited video and upload it to Trinity College London's online platform, where it is assessed by a Trinity College London examiner. Candidates receive marks and written feedback, and successful candidates receive the same Ofqual-regulated certification as face-to-face examinations.
